De Tomaso Mangusta Framed Print
Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Ghia and named for the mongoose — an animal that can kill cobras, in a nod to the failed relationship with Carroll Shelby — the De Tomaso Mangusta is one of the more interesting sports cars of the late '60s and early '70s. With only 400 produced and only 250 making it to the United States, they're a rare sight, which makes this 2017 shot by Ted Gushue all the more special. Taken on a street overlooking downtown Los Angeles with palm trees in the background, it showcases the signature gullwing hood under which lies a Ford 302 V8, a mesmerizing blend of Italian design and American engineering. Limited edition of 495.
