Anglepoise is a British lighting manufacturer. Best known for their iconic 1227 task lamp, introduced in 1935, they've released plenty more lamps in the decades since, all built on the principles of balance that made the original so popular it can be seen in vintage aircraft cockpits, animation studios, college dorms, and in the anthropomorphic friendliness of the iMac G4.
