Collection: Porsche Design

"If you analyze the function of an object, its form often becomes obvious." This quote from Prof. Ferdinand Alexander Porsche applies perfectly to the Porsche 911, designed by F.A. Porsche and launched in 1963. 70 years later, the basic DNA of the 911 is still there — the rear engine layout, fastback silhouette, rear window shape, and the freestanding wings housing the headlights. Nearly 10 years later, Prof. Ferdinand Alexander Porsche created Porsche Design to bring his design philosophy to everyday objects, beginning with the Chronograph I wristwatch. Over the last six decades, Porsche Design has brought Porsche's design language to everything from watches and sunglasses to cutlery and audio equipment — proof that form and function are inextricably bound.
